Mastrolino — Attraction in Omegna

Don't miss out on this gem. We were all alone on the trail with our three boys of 2.5, 6 and 9. It was magical with another suprise every turn. We used google Translate to understand what it says next to the gnomes. The kids counted them. Make sure to follow the gnomes all the time because sometimes there's a fork. Incantevole alpe dalla quale si può ammirare un bellissimo scorcio del Lago d'Orta. Si parte da via Nobili ad Omegna per poi proseguire su un tratto di strada asfaltata che diventa sterrata e ti conduce al sentiero che precede la salita. Il percorso, che all'inizio è asfaltato in pendenza ma agevole, si muta poi in un sentiero di montagna non semplicissimo ma percorribile anche dai bambini. In alcuni punti è necessario oltrepassare punti rocciosi ma assolutamente non complicati. Non percorribile con passeggino. Lungo il percorso ci sono tanti nanetti e alcune tavole con poesie di Rodari. In cima all'alpe si gode di una magnifica vista sul lago. C'è una struttura abitata ma non commerciale, c'è un parco giochi, un grande dondolo e animali liberi (asinelli e caprette). Prima di arrivare alla cima si trovano due panchine giganti su cui si può salire tramite una scaletta. Gita consigliata. Utilizzare calzature adatte per camminare...

Cette randonnée offre un très beau point de vue sur le lac. Elle est assez courte (environ 30 minutes de marche), mais la montée peut sembler soutenue, surtout si vous êtes accompagnés d’enfants. Le parcours est parsemé de nains de jardin dans tous les sens : un détail amusant pour les plus petits, même si, pour ma part, j’ai trouvé ça un peu surprenant (voire un peu effrayant haha).

À l’arrivée, on découvre un petit gîte accueillant avec de nombreuses chèvres et une aire de jeux pour les enfants. C’est un endroit agréable pour faire une pause, pique-niquer et profiter de la vue avant de redescendre.

Le sentier débute au bout des habitations, par une montée en terre. Nous vous conseillons de vous garer sur le parking situé plus bas, avant le départ du chemin, afin d’être tranquilles. Le dénivelé reste modéré, mais il faut tout de même prévoir que ça grimpe un peu surtout avec des enfants mais cela...
