Spiaggia di Arenella — Attraction in Porto Venere

We have been on the Cinque Terre coast for over a week and this would be the worst service we have received. There was no one in the front row so after we paid we asked if we could be on one of the front , for the locals is what we were told. (It would be good to know that before you paid.)We suggested given the amount of vacant beach lounges we would be happy to move should it be a problem. We came one of the first ones, paid 30 euro. We got sun-beds next to the toilets and we asked if we can get another ones. One worker was kind and wanted to give us ones in the front since nobody was there (we were there several hours and just a couple of the sunbeds in the front row been occupied during all day). The worker who wanted to help us was stopped by a colleague. After I asked why, the answer was “it is for seasonal tourists”. We saw others came and the same scenario happened with them. Nice location for this beach establishment quite close to the village. The space between the sunbeds do not allow much privacy but the beaches of Portovenere are not particularly large. The immediate availability of restaurant services is the implicit advantage of choosing an establishment. Access to the sea is facilitated and the presence of a small platform in the sea is very popular...
