A really nice medieval castle with lots of rooms to explore and an interesting guided tour. The lady that guided the tour was super nice, and despite the tour being in German, explained a lot to us in English and answered all our questions. It was an amazing experience.

PARKING: There is a good free parking available at the nearby town (Parkhaus Pavillon on Google Maps) with many parking places and 90-180 minutes of free parking. But the walk/hike from there takes 20-30 minutes, and part of it is pretty intense, especially if you are coming with a stroller or senior family members.

That is why it makes sense to drive first directly to the castle (Taufers Castle as a destination). There is a small (10-15 cars) parking right next to the castle, and you can park there for 90 minutes for free. Even if it’s full, you can still drive back to the Parkhaus Pavillon in...

Il Castello di Tures è struttura più bella esternamente che internamente, comunque ricco di storia e non fa mai male arricchirsi di nuove informazioni e avere la possibilità di approfondire nuove conoscenze. La mia visita e non solo la mia, non può che trasformarsi in una recensione negativa per come è stata gestita l'intera visita guidata. Innanzitutto è la prima volta che mi capita di fare una visita di gruppo costituita da più di 50 persone forse anche 60. Inizialmente siamo stati letteralmente stipati nella prima stanza da cui parte la visita, tra adulti e bambini a fatica riuscivamo a starci, inoltre vista la presenza di numerosi bambini che si lamentavano, giocavano e toccavano ogni cosa, la guida ha pensato bene di chiudere l'unica finestra presente nello stanza, si respirava a fatica visto il caldo e non si capiva nulla di ciò che la guida diceva, così per tutta la visita. Inoltre da un punto di vista della salute, in un periodo in cui ancora ci sono molti casi di covid, non si può non tener conto della salute dei visitatori. La visita è proseguita e nulla è cambiato, tanto caos, persone che andavano da una parte all'altra esasperate anche dal fatto che non si sentiva nulla di ciò che la guida diceva, così per un'ora circa. Sicuramente un peccato, non tanto per aver buttato 13 euro di biglietto di ingresso a persona, ma non si può organizzare una visita con tutte queste persone, prima perché non si comprende veramente nulla, secondo perché c'è il rischio concreto, come tra l'altro è avvenuto che le persone tocchino continuamente tutto, rischiando di danneggiare le cose presenti nelle varie stanze che essendo antiche andrebbero preservate il più possibile. Una sola guida non può gestire né essere in grado di guidare così tante persone in stanze strette e non può neanche sorvegliarle attentamente. Se si deve fare di una risorsa una macchina da soldi, allora quantomeno cercate di tutelarla il più possibile. Inoltre la guida non era neanche particolarmente preparata, le informazioni che ha dato erano per lo più abbastanza scolastiche nulla di particolarmente approfondito, sicuramente non all'altezza di un castello che nel tempo è passato da una famiglia all'altra e il cui racconto dovrebbe sempre di più incuriosire le persone anziché annoiarle. Personalmente non consiglierei a nessuno di visitarlo, finché non cambia questa gestione e di affrontare le visite guidate in questo modo. Un vero peccato che in segna che tutto il mondo è paese. Veramente tanto da rivedere...
