Read moreMy mother and I booked a last minute deal at Hotel Alte Muehle for 7 nights for the price of 6. The price was extremely reasonable, and included breakfast and dinner. The property itself is well looked after and has been updated with all the usual modern amenities over the years. There is a spa with 2 relaxing areas, an indoor pool, multiple saunas (one Finnish) and the best 2 steam rooms I have ever visited. The therapist is well versed in many kinds of treatments and massage therapies. The public areas are adorned with old photos of the surrounding landscape, family, and climbers who have frequented the area. The main public area includes the best stocked bar outside of Milan & a cozy fireplace with plenty of seating all around. This is a place that embodies everything about the southern Tyrol, and makes you want to return again and again. The area is known for its hiking and cross country trails, as well as 2 world class downhill skiing areas. The hotel offer a vast variety of activities, some free and others run by the town - so you are never without something to do. Last but not least - the dining experience which was absolutely flawless. The breakfast buffet includes everything you could ever dream of, and every one of the 5 dishes we ate at dinner throughout our stay was exceptional. The service too was immaculate, on a par with (if not better) than some of the world`s top hotel groups. No joke, this hotel deserves every award out there! Thank you for making our short stay...
