Planning to visit the Dolomites? Make sure to include this beautiful church on your itinerary 😍 The church of St. Valentin in Kastelruth/Castelrotto surrounded by meadows and fields, with the Schlern massif in the background, offers a real idyllic scene😍 Being a sunset lover, I had to check it out during this time and although it was cloudy, I still got a beautiful mix of colors and clouds, isn’t it so pretty! 💡Best way to get here is park in the town of Kastelruth close to the Seis tourism office and walk around 15-20 mins You might be able to park closer if you google the church directly and head on that direction but it might be harder to find a non private parking space. Can't say I've been inside the church, but the outside is a beautiful experience. You can hike here from Susi or take a bus to the nearby stop and only walk maybe ten minutes. You can walk all the way around the church but the large field uphill of the church is private property meaning you won't be able to enter. There is a fence marking that area. WICHTIGE INFORMATIONEN ZUM ERREICHEN DER ST.VALENTIN KIRCHE Die St. Valentin Kirche ist von Seis über den Wanderweg Nr. 7 in ca. 20 Gehminuten erreichbar. Startend vom Busbahnhof Seis, wenige Schritte nach dem Postamt an der Hauptstraße rechts in Richtung St. Valentin abbiegen. Von hier führt der Weg bergauf, direkt zur Kirche. Über denselben Weg geht es dann wieder zurück zum Ausgangspunkt. Seis bzw. der Busbahnhof Seis und somit den Ausgangspunkt des Wanderweges Nr. 7 zur St. Valentin Kirche kann mit verschiedenen Buslinien erreicht werden. WICHTIG: Die Kirche ist NICHT MIT DEM AUTO, sondern AUSSCHLIEßLICH ZU FUß erreichbar. In Seis am Schlern gibt es verschiedene Parkmöglichkeiten: eine Tiefgarage hinter der Esso Tankstelle (kostenpflichtig) und eine Tiefgarage an der Talstation der Seiser Alm Bahn (kostenpflichtig).
