Zum Woscht - Restaurant Pizzeria — Restaurant in Salten-Schlern - Salto-Sciliar

We have tried to dine in here- no chance; long queue and people inside never talked to us although we said Hi! hello! Is it possible to acommodate us later? They pretended not to hear us…anyway, the mature lady at the bar seemed very stressed…and the whole vibe in the restaurant is just running waiters that save the planet…that’s how stressed they look, as if the entire world rests on their shoulders

We ordered piZzas and 1 schnizel by phone- they were ready in 20-25min, same vibe when I went to take away the food. The pizzas regular in taste ( according to our kids), big in size…but a lot of the size was just empty bread. My schnitzel ok, nothing extraordinary.

I had to order in my combined Italian German basic language as the person answering didn’t understand anything, not even the numbers…like 3 pizza Quattro Formaggi…I said 3 in in English, It and De, to make sure I got understood. French fries- frozen, like everywhere in the Dolomiti area ( and I hate frozen fries but I adjusted to the zone)

Side note, that I will add to all my reviews for the restaurants where we had dinner during our ski trip: they do not answer the phone, when they finally answer, if they answer they passed me to 2-3 different persons, they are not nice, not chatty, and basic basic English. I have not felt pampered in any of the restaurants - just a sheep among other 10000skiing sheeps;...

I literally had all our dinners at Zum Woscht during our stay at Seis so we had the opportunity to try a number of items from their menu. If there's an advice to give, I'll suggest to go for their pizzas rather than other main courses. You might also want to order the smaller version which is €1 cheaper but a lot more manageable. My friend and I were in the dolomites for our trip and we kept coming back to this restaurant. I have travelled and tried many pizzas in Italy and I was always disappointed. Their pizza was definitely the best in my opinion in all the pizzas I tried. Gioia and her team was fun to deal with and we always received an excellent service. One dinner we also tried something else than pizza and we were not disappointed. But definitely try the pizza there. I highly recommend...
