This was a lovely and easy hike, perfect for a relaxed day out. The drive to the trailhead was smooth, with a fully sealed road all the way to the carpark. Parking was free today (not tourist season yet), though it’s usually €8 per day.
The trail was quiet with very few other hikers, and there was no snow on the path. The walk itself was easy, with just a mild incline at the beginning. At the end of the AllTrails-marked track, you can continue for another 200–300 meters to reach a stunning open valley with beautiful views of Col Turond. The trail extends further if you’re up for a longer hike, but this valley is a great spot to turn back.
