Parco Acquatico Atlantica Cesenatico — Attraction in Unione Rubicone e mare

Great water park for families. We went with our 2, 5 and 7 year olds and they all had a brilliant time. They are all very confident in the water which meant the 2 year old went on the one proper children's slide very happily lots of times, and the 5 and 7 year olds aged a few years so they could ride on the bigger slides which they loved (the minimum age for most of the slides is 8, but the attendants took our word that they were 8). There is also one adult slide (the blue slide) where younger children can ride with an adult if they want. Lockers were €2 and loungers were €5. We went on a Friday in August and there were hardly any queues (max probably 10 minutes) and plenty of space to enjoy yourselves. There's also a 'playground' bit for children aged 3-12 which is like a big plastic climbing frame with lots of slides in, some which come out into the water. There aquagym/dancing sessions and waves every hour or so. All in all a great place (but be warned - it's definitely not the most sparklingly new place at all, but if you're after a fun day then this is a great option in the area, and it was perfectly clean despite some of the slides etc being a bit tatty). My experience has been quiet good but there was a problem when we went on during the weekend dated Sunday 29 July 2018. The umbrellas and the sun beds were all fully booked. The only thing we could have was an umbrella on the grass area which we took. We settled down quickly but suddenly there were severe sharp pain on the sole of my feet as I walked across the grass lawn. It was several thorny plants. It has pierce right through my skin and causes a severe discomfort. I saw many people pass through bare feeted and had thorns on their feet. I come here to enjoy and not to be have a painful experience. Please may I suggest that you put an artificial turf grass on the area instead of natural herb grass. This will prevent thorny plants growing on it or maybe you just have it tiled concrete and have several pots of plants on the corner. Nice aquapark for family time. Just 2 things that bothered me is that some tpilets schould be renovated (some are in good condition but most are very old and could be renew). The biggest issue during our visit was kids that parents litterly send to water to pee in or even worse.. one parent sens his naked girl to water on not even 1min lated she poo in. I mean they shuld not allow naked kids in water to begin with... poo was just swiming in the pool and when we informed about it they did litterly nothing... we didnt use this pool anymore... this should never had happen. Not saying about parents that litterly let their kid in water just to pee insted of to go to toilet with them i know stuff cant reallt do anything about it but really ppl do...
