I visited this house because i have interest with Frank Lloyd Wright works after seeing story about The first Imperial hotel Tokyo hotel.

This house is amazingly designed with lots of detail elements, as if everything has its own measurement. You can see a well blend design when east meets west, traditional meets modern.

During my visit I always imagine if one day i could stay in this kind of...

If you are in Japan and a FLW fan, this is a must-see spot, as it is one of his few buildings here. It was designed by FLW, but actually constructed by one of his students after he had returned to the US.

Like a lot of FLW buildings, the spaces really must be experienced first-hand to get a sense of how they affect you and how they are built.

It is quite a short walk from Ashiya station, which itself is in-between Kobe and Osaka, so it is very easy to get to.

Highly...

This is vintage FLW. Go there if you're a fan. If you're not one already, go visit too and become one.. The place, just 20 minute by train from Osaka, is the perfect fusion of FLW principles and Japanese elegance. Extremely well preserved premise, with original details. Unfortunately the separate guesthouse of the villa was lost over the years. Rebuilding it would make the...
