Araha Park — Attraction in Chatan

During my recent visit to Araha Beach Park with my girls, including my one-year-old daughter, I was delighted by the vibrant atmosphere and beautiful sunset. As the evening approached, the park was bustling with activity. People were out on the beach, relishing the coolness after a hot day. The basketball courts were packed, and kids were having a blast on the playground, their excitement palpable.

It was wonderful to see so many people enjoying each other's company, whether they were walking, running, or simply relaxing by the water. My one-year-old daughter especially loved being out as the sun set, creating a perfect end to a lovely day. Araha Beach Park is definitely a fantastic spot for families and anyone looking to enjoy some outdoor fun...

Very beautiful beach with easy access and a small section netted off for whoever would like to swim in it. Sunrise and sunset are the best times to enjoy the view. There is a really cool tattoo shop right on the corner called Ink 8 Board and the owner and artist, Eve, is really sweet and great to get along with. You have to schedule an appointment but she is usually available! The beach and park have a lot of areas to sit at and you could easily being a picnic to enjoy on the soft grass. Bring a blanket to lay with your family and enjoy the nice breeze! I wish they had little stands on the sidewalk with small local foods to try or ice cream but if you walk further into town away from the beach then you will find food!...

Great public beach and park , very nice kids playground. It has a small snack to buy simple food,local beer, water and soda. Tent rentals also for party.Lots of local Japanese, mainland, some tourist and local american. Free parking lot and 🚻 bathrooms. Nice walking area 👌. Walk from Hamby town is about two minutes. Walk from Chatan Chatan-chō baseball stadium is about ten minutes. The Dragons play spring training at this location. A drive from Naha International Airport is about thirty to forty minutes depending on traffic and time of day. Beautiful sunsets,with lots of restaurants within walking distance...
