A brand new Indian Curry Restaurant in Chatan’s Araha Beach, this is a very cozy and nice addition to the area!
The interior of the restaurant is clean, bright, and well designed. The theming and atmosphere is nicely done—it feels both cozy and classy at the same time. The decorations and wall paper are beautiful and expertly done—it feels like a quality establishment and shows how much thought they put into the design of the restaurant!
The service was excellent! The staff speaks fluent Japanese and English, and were very attentive, quick, and polite!
The food is also evidence of their hard work and care:
The Lassi (plain) was incredibly sweet with a solid semi-thick consistency. A good yogurt drink
The Tandoori Chicken was very tender, with mild seasoning but a decent dressing rub on it. Overall, it was a light mild flavor that was a good small morsel to snack on!
The Chicken Tika Masala curry had the same spice and flavor profile of the Tandoori chicken. It had a creamy consistency that had a good grouping of flavors and a decent profile.
The Mutton Curry had a mild, light creamy consistency that has a good beef broth base layer. It is reminiscent of a beef stew, but in curry form.
I found that the Medium Spice level has just a twinge of the heat at the end of each bite that is delicious without being overpowering.
The Naan was light, fluffy, had a good chew to it, and held up well under the curry. A very solid naan that was more bready/doughy than airy.
Overall, this is a nice simple Indian restaurant doing the basic Indian curry very well! A nice spot to enjoy something new and have a brighter more intimate dining experience!

Read moreDefinitely one of my new favorite Indian restaurant! Went there with 2 of my buddies around 7:40pm and right off the bat I was greeted with a welcoming smile and a very helpful personality. People under estimate the power of customer service, so I was very pleased that they did were the ones to do it right. The menus were English friendly and very neat and organized and even when something was unclear I was assisted by the waiter and he had no problem in helping me.
Last thing I want to say is another thing that is over looked is the restroom. It was very clean and not over packed with decorations. Hit my big three that all restrooms in restaurants must have: cleanliness (good lighting, not cluttered, and smells good), spacious, and stocked toiletries.
This goes without saying. The food was amazing. Nothing I would change about the flavor. The proof is that nothing remained on my plate.. just make sure you grab a glass of lassi because it does get a little spicy if you aren’t careful. Definitely would recommend for those who love Indian food and for those who have never tried it. Team namaste, keep up the cleanliness and good work. Definitely will be...
Read moreThis place was great, about 1500yen for a lunch set of curry chicken, with a salad (amazing vinaigrette) a HUGE piece of fresh Naan bread and I ordered a small side of rice and drink came with.
I ordered "super" spicy, and it will make you sweat, very good! The naan was fresh and hot, very large portion. Only complaint was the chicken was not pure pieces of breast and had grisly, fatty chunks, if I had know that I would have gotten the skewers or something else. Was expected very trimmed pieces of chicken and mainly meat but had to navigate the non meat with fork and knife and spit out the fat tendon chunks.
Restaurant is very clean, and the service is EXCEPTIONAL, they are very kind and...
