Hotel is serviced by a bus limousine from Narita T2 Level 3, costing 1000 JPY, directly to this hotel entrance. I was billeted at the central tower on a high floor with a huge window overlooking Tokyo Bay and part of ZOZO Marine Stadium and ZOZO Park Honda Football Field. Room is bigger compared to APA Hotels I stayed at in Tokyo and Kyoto, but still with the same compact, modular like toilet and bath. Lawson's at the second floor is open 24-hours so you can readily buy snacks or stuffs you need. 2 Onsens were free to use for hotel guests as well as an outside pool. Guests were congregating at Lawson even at half past 8 in the evening before making their way to the Onsen. Breakfast buffet was adequate with mix of Asian and western cuisine, but eating it at the top floor with expansive view of the city and the sea 'elevated' the experience. Free scheduled shuttle service until midday from the hotel front to the nearest train station (for onward travellers going to Tokyo or elsewhere) was a big help as it's a considerable walk particularly if you're tugging a big luggage. I would recommend a 2-3 day stay here, no more than that, precisely because of proximity reasons to other tourist attractions. Check-ins and check-out was a breeze, with former done by just scanning your passport, and latter just by dropping your key card near the reception.

March 25th, 2024: Hotel staff, location, view, things to do, make this a great place to stay. Rooms, rate, decor, all need improvement. Stayed an entire week, center tower, 31st floor and corner view; $840.66 USD. Compared to what you can get throughout Japan for the price, this place was not worth it. Room was small, despite being a large area, reason is, nearly 50% of the room was an entrance, hallway and a massive useless walk in closet. The two beds and washroom, were crammed into the remaining 13 SQM. In need of a serious redesign, there is enough space for a complete washroom upgrade and larger seating area if you minimized the size of the in suite hallway and closet. Washroom was also among the worst I’ve seen. Cramped, dated, yellowing interior, speckled with various black and pink molds, real disappointment. Functional and clean otherwise, but surprisingly low quality washroom for a Japanese hotel. What I loved: location, beautiful beachside, with awesome views especially from the corner suites in the center tower. Explore the top floor dining (fair but nothing special) for an even better view. Stroll along the beach, visit the many places surrounding Chiba, catch a baseball game at Lotto Chiba Marine stadium, train station and short walk away. Staff throughout the entire resort hotel were professional and accommodating, very well done. Lawsons, two of them, located right on the lobby was sweet, open 24 Hrs too 👌 Always crowded though. Restaurants are ok, but I’d recommend eating outside the resort, amazing food to be found in the city or even in Tokyo which is not too far away. Overall, spent most of my time outside the hotel, but during my stay, I was comfortable enough that I’d recommend it to those only in urgent need of a last minute place. If you have time to search, way better hotels out there to stay in for almost same price.

Bathroom and room temperature are big issues. I would never stay here again. The bathroom issue is that the showerhead sprays water very widely and not at all straight on so most of the water sprays the shower walls and curtain. The second issue is that the shower walls funnel the water outside of the shower and onto the floor into big puddles at both the front and back of the shower so you end up with tons of water outside of the shower. My colleague who also rented a room here said the exact same thing happened in his bathroom. See video. There is no way to adjust the shower head, no way to change the direction. Then there's that issue of the temperature in the winter. The hotel only has heat switched on in the winter and the windows are very old so during the day the sun heats the room up like a greenhouse and since there's no air conditioning it's very very hot. And informed hotels staff of how hot the room was at 25° c / 78° f and their solution was to bring me a fan since the hotel completely disables the air conditioning in the winter.

My recent stay at the APA Hotel Resort Tokyo was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the hotel staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive to my every need. The room was cramped and clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had a fantastic night's sleep each night during my stay. One of the highlights of the hotel was its stunning rooftop pool and terrace, which offered panoramic views of the city. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind after a busy day of exploring Tokyo. The hotel's restaurants also impressed me with their range of delicious Japanese and international cuisine. The location of the hotel was also fantastic, with easy access to public transport with free shuttle bus to the nearest station, AEON Mall and some of Tokyo's best attractions, such as the Tokyo Skytree and Tokyo Disney Resort. Overall, I cannot recommend the APA Hotel Resort Tokyo highly enough. It provided a luxurious and unforgettable stay, and I look forward to returning again in the future.

The building, the lobby, the overall presentation of the hotel is impressive. Good view of the bay too. The room is small but I think it's probably a regular size in Japan. It hasn't had any renovation and it is showings it's age. It is early 70's decor. The day I checked in was the same day as a conference so the line up was insane. It was not usually like that I was told later, very unusual. A lot of white dudes probably bumping into walls and whatnot in their tiny rooms that's why a lot of thumping around through the walls and ceiling throughout the evening. Dies down later on at night. There is a shuttle bus that operates a few times in the morning to take guest to the train station. Nice if you have luggages. It's about a 10 to 15 minutes walk. It's a nice area to walk around. Staff are friendly and helpful. Free use of hot bath house. Wife enjoyed it, I didn't use it. Not really my thing. Overall a very nice hotel. Will stay again when visiting next time.

Good hotel. Huge. I only visited the restaurants and the massage chair machine. There are quite a few good restaurants there. Specially the Sky Cruise on the 50th floor with great views. This is the biggest and best Apa hotel I've been in. Oddly, and I don't know why, but they have a small dinosaur exhibit in the lobby and just outside. They are animateonic, complete with motion and sound. As mentioned before there are massage chairs on the 2nd floor. There are 4 of them, 2 on either side of the floor. It's 300 yen for 15 min. It's located close to Mihama-en park which is also a great spot to explore and it is walking distance from Kaihinmakuhari station and the Mitsui outlet mall. Great place to stay if you were going to.
