Zentokuji Park — Attraction in Fuji

Zentokuji Park is a great place if you are interested in Japanese history. In this area, "The Triple Alliance" was created during the Warring States Period (1467 –1603). At Zentoku-ji in 1554, the Takeda, Hojyo, and Imagawa clans agreed to a peace treaty. However, 14 years later, the pact was shattered and war began. Zentoku-ji was burned and rebuilt. In 1569, it was burned by the Takeda clan. After that, it was not rebuilt. Now, only traces of it remain. 住宅街にあるこの善得寺跡、今現在はご近所さんの憩いの場となっているようで、芝生の公園ですが、この場所で戦国時代に今川義元、武田信玄、北条氏康が三国同盟を結んだんだなぁと、実際に現地に行って感慨深いものを感じました。駐車場も車3台分あり、トイレも立派なものがあるので観光スポットとしては良い場所ですが、道に案内看板が無いのと、道が狭いクネクネしたような所なので、車で行く場合に...
