We stayed in a Pao (dome tent). The pao area is seperate from the villa area and is more 'rural' (villa area is all concrete etc where as the paos are woodland. We loved the experience - we did 2 nights.
The first night it was a BBQ with various meats and veggies (could opt for fully veggie if you choose) and the BBQ is a proper green-egg style. The second night we had pork rib tacos and a whole roast chicken which was partly cooked already in a steel pot that has been on the main fire. Bear in mind it is a cook-yourself moment, we loved this but aware aware some people might not! You are also expected to lightly wash everything up so it can be returned to the main site for a proper run through the dishwasher. Breakfast is little in the grand scheme of things so if staying more than one night, would recommend maybe a cup noodle or something more substantial for a lunch rather than snacks.
The bar is reasonable and if you like wine, the whites are actually decent.
The pao itself is air-conditioned and very specious. We were lucky to have one facing the forest - some of them face other people's cooking/campfire areas so aren't as private. Bathroom facilities were fantastic - very spacious and clean (no general campsite toilets here!) Each pao also has it's own campfire area and they run sessions everyday on how to light a fire if you're not travelling with your own scout. The BBQ and eating area is enclosed within a gazebo - we had lovely weather whilst staying but can easily BBQ in the rain with the setup!
The staff were really helpful and welcoming and couldn't have tried to be more helpful!
All in all a lovely stay, just be prepared to do a...
Read moreUnfortunately with my husband we were quite disappointed that this Glamping hotel was so expensive and did not even come pick us up at the station considering they do offer drop off. So we stood 45 minutes in the rain at the train station in order to get a taxi that we paid 20 euros for an 11 minute drive. And the breakfast is way too early and the fact that we need to do everything ourselves is a bit ridiculous. It's supposed to be luxurious camping and for 150 euros a night it's definitely not worth it.
Other than that the individual bathrooms are very nice, the beds and tents are very spacious and comfortable and the location is gorgeous.
Also, the onsen was not working and you had to pay additional charge for a public bath which I find I bit nonsensical considering the...
Read moreResort is very near to mt Fuji, the view from villa is stunning although not view from the room however backyard from the room is good enough. We had 2 nights stay and breakfast experience is awesome, dining with mt Fuji with all self cook experience. Dinner bbq prepared by glamping is good just pricey, we had dinner outside second night, there are Aeon mall and sport depo 1 km away maybe less, we walked over and return not very hassle for us. But without car you can’t be easy at mt Fuji. Overall I love this quality glamping. 1 more sharing my friends stayed PAO, it is wonderful, exactly camping experience but high end camping facilities. Activities area is natural, We...
