Read moreThis place is located in Shimoyoshida and is probably one of the most famous and best spot to view Mt.Fuji. It features a gigantic red torii leading to the shrine, and the Chureito pagoda just below the Observatory deck.
If you got down from Shimoyoshida station, it is a 20 minute walk to top. But if you got down from Mt.Fuji station, ride a taxi then get down near the shrine. From there it will only be a 12 minute walk/hike to the top.
You can visit the park 24/7, however the shrine closes at 4pm. So be sure to arrive early to be able to buy an omamori or a goshuin stamp. Best time to visit is Sunrise or Sunset, best season to visit is Sakura season or Foliage season.
