Came here on my last day in Japan as I needed something to do that wasn’t too costly or tiring. I sat by the beach with a coffee and conbini food and enjoyed the smell of the ocean and its waves.

As a cat lover, I was disappointed to not see any cats at this stage. However, when I decided to walk down the concrete path behind the beach. I happened upon a timid tabby cat who then became so friendly. Then another white cat with orange spots who didn’t like me much but allowed another person to pick them up and hold them.

And just when I thought, man, it doesn’t get better than this. I see another cat! A tabby! Sadly, the cat did not want my affection but was gorgeous to look at. All together I believe there were 6 cats. All who were varying with affection.

You may pet the cats if they allow you to, do not fret if they don’t. As a cat connoisseur, I can assure you, the cat will warm up to you with time. Start by bringing your hand close to their face and allow them to smell you. Be calm and patient. Sometimes you just have...

Honestly, it wasn’t a beautiful beach. BUT I don’t really care for beaches. 😂 I gave 5 stars because I had a nice time with 2 cats! One was so elusive towards other people (joggers, families in bicycles), but was very playful with me. It’s a nice place to unwind because there aren’t many people, only ocassional joggers.

Like other reviews, I noticed it wasn’t clean, but at least the trash was in one place so I’m assuming they’d be collected regularly. I stayed about an hour here just playing with the cats and...

Small beach close to city center! Got here by bus from tenjin and walked around. It’s clean and seems to be the local favorite chill spot for the cats! No one was at the beach when I visited but since it was working time, probably everyone in their offices. Will check out on the weekend again to see if people go swimming here which I...
