Came here on my last day in Japan as I needed something to do that wasn’t too costly or tiring. I sat by the beach with a coffee and conbini food and enjoyed the smell of the ocean and its waves.
As a cat lover, I was disappointed to not see any cats at this stage. However, when I decided to walk down the concrete path behind the beach. I happened upon a timid tabby cat who then became so friendly. Then another white cat with orange spots who didn’t like me much but allowed another person to pick them up and hold them.
And just when I thought, man, it doesn’t get better than this. I see another cat! A tabby! Sadly, the cat did not want my affection but was gorgeous to look at. All together I believe there were 6 cats. All who were varying with affection.

One was so elusive towards other people (joggers, families in bicycles), but was very playful with me. It’s a nice place to unwind because there aren’t many people, only ocassional joggers.
