The grounds are well kept. We came too early in the season to see the azaleas in full bloom. We came back on May 15 and the azaleas are gorgeous.

能代には何度も行っていましたが、この公園に行ったのは初めてかも知れません。それとも記憶が封印してるのか。 つつじを観察しに行きました。 花の事には詳しくないので、どれが何の花なのか、よく分からないまま歩き回ってましたが、数こそ少数だけれども綺麗な花達が咲いていました。 車椅子の人達の為のスロープも設置されていて、ちゃんと気配りもある道。 １番上まで登ると、能代の街を眺める事が出来ます。 日に寄って違うと思いますが、時折、肌を撫でる風が涼しくて心地よい。 こういう場所でのランチもいいかも知れませんね。
