Do wear long trousers. The ferns, bushes and trees will scratch your legs. We walked it in shorts and sneakers and at some parts I longed for my trousers to cover my legs. It is a beautiful walk, a bit steep, so mind that if you are not used to Forrest. The track is not well maintained. There is a lot of fallen down trees that you need to climb over. The path was also washed away by the rain some places. And one signpost had fallen down.
