Miyajima Itsuki Coffee — Restaurant in Hatsukaichi

We (3 persons) ordered one coffee, a snack and a big ice cream to share. When my partner asked for a second spoon to share the ice cream the ladies at the counter told us that they have a one person / one drink policy and they would not allow us to share our ice cream. We had to take the coffee to go and had to leave the coffee shop. This is incredibly unfriendly and not acceptable! Amazing place !!! Great drinks, grilled cheese sandwiches and ice creams. The team working the café contributes to a fun, welcoming and great atmosphere. You can charge your phone while enjoying a break and a drink. I arrived right at the opening and enjoyed trying to speak Japanese with the team working there. They were patient with me! The soft serve ice cream will truly stay with me forever. It’s possibly the best coffee ice cream I have ever experienced. The ice cream is thick and creamy without being too sweet. The cone is fresh and crunchy. For the first time, I’ve experienced a cone filled all the way to the bottom. Usually the serve is precariously balanced on the top of the cone!
