Hanazono Central Park — Attraction in Higashiosaka

Went with a small group of children to see the show in the planetarium, it was really good although for the younger aged children (5year olds) a little bit long so they got bored quickly. Outside there is a great big play area that is just perfect for children to spend so much time enjoying the freedom to run, climb and just be silly. The only downside is there are no toilets close by you need to go to the main building. Hanazono park is a great place for a family day. There's a kids play area as well as a dog run for both large and small dogs. A large playing field for children and adults alike to enjoy. In the spring you can find Sakura and plum blossoms. Of course there's also the newly built rugby stadium. There's a separate outdoor rugby field and a baseball diamond. Hanazono park has everything for a fun family outing...

I visited this area when I went to Japan for the Pokemon Manholes and it left a great impression on me!

I normally was doing the touristy things in big cities but this game me a perfect slice of life for the residential areas outside of the main city. I got to see kids doing their extracurriculars, kids playing sports, or even just playing band instruments at the park. I will remember it...
