Worth a quick visit, but I think the buildings on the west end of the historic neighborhood are more interesting. The staff said his English is very broken but I asked for explanations in simple Japanese instead which he gladly gave.

I asked whether it was okay to take a photograph of the samurai suit of armor, out of courtesy as I knew it was okay, and that prompted him to remove some unsightly "do not touch" signs for me which was very...
