Small but unique and lovely permanent exhibition. 280 yen. We were the only two people in the gallery during our visit. Phones are not permitted (regardless of whether you're taking photos) except with a special armband if you need to translate hirigani by handwriting. The permanent exhibition can be completed in about 35 to 40 minutes. The museum has an excellent curry...

Beautiful museum. There is only the permanent exhibit at the moment so it takes maybe 30-45 minutes to see everything but the ticket for that part is only ¥280. I was amazed by this gallery and its collection. We visited when they had the extremely impressive Kawase Hasui exhibition on ukiyo-e, Japan's unique style of woodblock printing/painting. Worth the entry fee to see.
