Small but unique and lovely permanent exhibition. 280 yen. We were the only two people in the gallery during our visit. Phones are not permitted (regardless of whether you're taking photos) except with a special armband if you need to translate hirigani by handwriting. Beautiful museum. There is only the permanent exhibit at the moment so it takes maybe 30-45 minutes to see everything but the ticket for that part is only ¥280. There are coin lockers where you get your ¥100 back after. I will say though it was weirdly hot inside the museum. Also you can't take pictures inside the exhibit, only...

Beautiful grounds but tourists beware, check the website to make sure it's open before you travel here. We found out the hard way the entire gallery was closed for a month due to installation of new displays.
