Mount Omuro — Attraction in Ito

I went to the place but was running out of cash, so we couldn’t buy the ticket. We found the local information centre and a kindly staff drove us to the nearest 711 to get some cash. He said it would be so unfortunate if we came here and couldn’t get on the mountain🥹. I also lost my phone on his car in accident and he drove back to hand me the phone😭. He was so nice and kind, and we were very glad we met such nice people here. The view on the mountain is very stunning as well. Would really recommend this place and meet the people here. Mt. Omuro is truly breathtaking! What’s fascinating about this place is the yearly tradition of burning the grass on the mountain. It might sound unusual, but it’s what keeps the landscape so lush and green, making it even more beautiful. It’s such a perfect blend of nature and culture.

Some people call this Macha Mountain. It is really so green and pretty!

The cable cart is interesting. It might look a bit dangerous, but you can enjoy the view and the wind around you.

On the mountain top, walking one round takes about 25 to 30 minutes. Can see the Ito city, the coast, the ocean and also many mountains. Unfortunately, today was a bit cloudy and we couldn't see Mt. Fuji. However, this is not the point.
