Kawagoe Kita-in Temple is a Buddhist temple. The temple is also known as "Kita-in," and it is a branch temple of Enryaku-ji, a prominent temple located in Kyoto.
The main hall was built in the 17th century and is one of the few remaining examples of traditional Japanese temple architecture from that period.
I was so impressed with the surrounding garden. The garden features a pond, a waterfall, and a variety of plants and trees, including cherry blossom trees.
The temple houses over 5000 items, including Buddhist statues, paintings, and calligraphy. One of the most famous artifacts in the temple is the "Three Thousand Buddhas of Kita-in," a collection of miniature Buddha statues that line the walls of one of the temple's buildings.

Today I visited Kawagoe for work purpose, when returning home at the evening, on my way to Kawagoe station, I came through old and historical structure like building, and that increased my interest. After opening map application in my phone, I found treasure mine again. A lots of historical places, castle remains, ruins, museum, temple, park, Shinto packed in an area. A must visit place for tourist. You must reserve the whole day for exploring the whole area, though I doubt you can't finish it whole. I will come soon again after getting enough idea and history...

In 1638, a fire broke out and almost all the buildings of Kita-in Temple were burned down.
