What a cute shrine!! I found this shrine unexpectedly while on the way to Hikawa Shrine. Even though it looks small from the outside, it is a lot bigger inside! There were a lot of independent praying places for a variety of gods which I could not recognise. One of them was two white snakes which we could pat on the head. There was also a small fountain in which a deity was playing a musical instrument surrounded by white snakes which I found to be very cute. There was also this game thing in which you donate ten yen to the donation box, and play a game in which you throw rings at different sections and if it lands on one you get good luck in that particular section. I think the sections were love, work and education, health and two more. There are also some acupressure stones lined on the way to the shrine which I thought was funny. Overall, I had a good experience in this shrine and I recommend it to anyone who wants to...

Read moreMy friends and I found this shrine pretty much on accident but it is one of the loveliest ones I've experienced so far. Not just because of the architecture and feeling you get while entering the shrine but because it also presents bonding rituals you can follow with your loved ones. The Yatagarasu (three-legged crow) fits in perfectly. While we visited it there were a couple of pilgrims in Kimonos and also tinier groups of people. It is also the place where I got my first ever Goshuincho (book of seals / stamps) and my first ever and still the most beautiful Goshuin. They were really nice and lovely people trying to talk to me and find common ground. Overall, I recommend coming here if you're in for a special little shrine with a lovely atmosphere and even...
