Located just one minute from Shinyurigaoka station on the Odakyu line, this 9 screen cinema offers the casual cinema-goer a very typical Japan movie-theater experience.
Films shown here are whatever is being shown nationally, usually in both subbed and dubbed versions. Tickets can be reserved and purchased online in advance (pickup on site), or from a ticket machine, or from a window. Prices vary due to special offers, but standard fares range from 900 yen (Kindergarten) 1,000 yen (Elementary school), 1,500 yen (students) and 1,800 yen (Adults). Special prices are offered on a regular basis, so check the website (Japanese only) to save money (e.g. "Happy First" - the first day of the month sees adult tickets reduced to 1,100 yen. Other offers include "Happy Mondays").
A selection of popcorn (sweet, salted, caramel etc) and fast food is served on site, including coffee, nachos, and a selection of cold drinks. There is a (very, very) small shop selling a small range of movie-related trinkets and posters, but this is an afterthought and will take only 5-30 seconds to visit and walk through.

After walking into their theater and seeing the classic style low rise seating, I was imminently pulled from 2017and into the nogsolgic 90's. The classic red fabric seating clearly worn down by time hummed along perfectly with the angle I had to crank my head up to see the screen.
Still, I was open minded, I was about to get my monthly thrill from a big block buster.. That's was until I grabbed my first handful of popcorn. Soft, chewing gross popcorn followed by waterd down coke..
Verdict: This theater needs a serious remodle, updated technology, and better staff training if they want to retain customers. Go elsewhere...
