Tamagawa Green Space Barbeque Area — Attraction in Kawasaki

The location of this place may be convenient for people travelling by subway, but THAT’S IT. They were way to strict with rules such as music being played (meanwhile the train tracks on the bridge are right next to the bbq place - therefore being super loud where you have to shout). Furthermore, the website indicates that you can reserve a spot until 5pm, but the security personel said - prior to 3pm - that we had to have everything packed up and clean by 4pm…

Honestly, this was very a poor experience and I would not recommend...

Commercially operated BBQ space on the Kawasaki side of the Futakotamagawa bridge. Accessible by train, bike or car and offers parking.

A tad noisy from the train over pass but once food and booze do their work, I found myself filtering it out. Weekends are crowded but you can make reservations.

A scam, even if you booked the BBQ, nothing was indicated about having to pay 30000y for the place, plus the entrance fee, plus the BBQ set, that doesn’t even come with a way to light the fire???? What a joke… the place is just under the train lines, on rocks and dust, so even if you have near the river and the name is “green” there’s nothing fresh about this place… maybe the only good thing is that is comes with chairs?
