The best thing about this park is its access. It has huge open space, but children area is quite small. The children area has sand box, water fountain, sliding, a tiny hill (which I have no idea why the children love it very much), and small wall climbing.
Suggestion: bring your own toys: bubble or toys for sands (?) will be great. You can buy it in Daiso near station if you forgot to bring yours.
let your kids play the sand first, then bring them to the water fountain, then after changing clothes, they can enjoy the wall climbing or the sliding.

It is located at a very convenient place with access to Futako-tamagawa train station, bus stops, futako-tamagawa rise shopping centres, 5 underground parking for bicycles, bikes and other vehicles and not to mention Tama river all close by. You will even get a Starbucks in the premises. The surroundings are very peaceful and you can relax by the pond inside as well as take a walk with your dog in the park and by the river. Getting coffee sounds nice too. All in all just the right place to take a break after a hard day, quite a serene and beautiful place. Loved it, will visit more...
Read moreA great place for someone looking to collect their thoughts, this park offers a view of the river, a spacious Japanese garden, some curious landscaping, and a lone Starbucks cafe for anyone retreating from the congested mall area nearby.
For more active people, their's a playground with the usual sandboxes and jungle gyms, as well as a gravel-washed sports area fit for a baseball game and the like.
The place doesn't have any good trees for autumn or spring viewing though, nor plentiful shade...
