Great home-made soft ice cream and local food market set in a re-created Edo courtyard with footbath, Japanese garden and samurai house. Incredibly, it’s all free ( except for the ice cream of course 😄)
The staff seem to be genuinely happy to be working here and frankly more helpful than the official tourist employees you’ll find at the onsen locations.
Highly recommended for a quick, fun, no-stress visit!

Read moreReally great experience, the volunteer who was there on the 4/1/24 was very enthusiastic and kind towards us and my son and super helpful. Thank you so much! You can wear a kimono for free. Edo period house and garden, my son was able to feed the koi! We also used the footbath which is free! We didn't eat there though there is a restaurant.
Definitely worth the visit, the store has a lot of great local foods...
