Yakakutei — Hotel in Kirishima

On 28th September 2024, I stayed in the Executive Villa (KanKanan) of The YAKAKUTEI Hot Spring Hotel. ||The transfer services were efficient, and I was greeted by Mr. Mori, the hotel owner, upon arrival.||The facilities and services of this hot spring hotel evoke traditional Japanese Omotenashi services—the spacious room with two private natural hot spring baths (Onsen) in my room, plus the public large hot spring bath. The natural hot spring water eliminates fatigue, relaxes your body, and refreshes your mind.||The Kaiseki dinner was served privately in your room, and the chief chef prepared a delicious tasting menu. My wife and I enjoyed the lovely evening in this Yakakutei.|The Japanese Kaiseki dinner and breakfast are presented in a very exquisite way. Each dish decoration is like a piece of art, delicious and pleasing.||As a Certified Travel Manager in Canada, I highly recommend that travelers stay in this excellent Hot Spring hotel, Yakakutei, in Kirishima, a 15-minute drive from Kagoshima airport. ...

Yakakutei ( 野鶴亭 霧島) : Yakakutei is situated in a residential neighbourhood in a rather quiet rural town. We were pick up by private car from Hayato station. The hotel was rather quiet that day, not may visitors. We were impressed by their facilities as well as excellent service. We stayed in a standard room, Japanese style with nice garden views. Gokku was helpful in assisting with booking. The room was clean, and the attached onsen was fantastic. In room dinner is so so good.- beef sukiyaki was the best ! Staff were very welcoming and tried to be as helpful as they can. Location is very close to kagoshima airport. Only downside is not too much attractions nearby if you don't drive, but the point of onsen hotel is to maximize time in onsen right ? So I still give locations five stars because of convenience to the international airport! They also arrange free pickup and drop...
