この神社は,南北朝時代に創建され,"だんじり祭"の発祥の地と云われています.(各町の地車が,この神社の御前で,太鼓🥁を打ち,芸を殿様に,見せたのが始まりと云われています.) この神社の由来記の中には,貴重な初期のだんじりの資料が現在も残っています.当時から村人達は,地車を綱で引いていたそうです.低い城門を通過する為,からくりを,施した地車もあるそうです.※だんじり祭は,地域国有の文化遺産です.

特にこれといって特徴無いけど、参拝しました。お賽銭あげて少し欲張りなお願いごとはしましたね！周りには、十六軒長屋にマンサード長屋ありますけど、よくわかりません？十六軒長屋の場所は、蛸地蔵駅手前に有料の自転車置き場の方に聞くとわかります。マンサード長屋も近所の方に聞いてもここかな？なんて返事しか返ってこなかったですね。どちらの長屋も住居となっています！

三の丸神社前の道路は、十六軒長屋から商店街までの間は、岸和田城の外堀跡なので、埋めても高低差が生じ、変な坂になってます。

今川家配下の頃、分家筋の岡部元信公が、鳴海城の開城と引き換えに今川義元公の首級を駿府に持ち帰り(帰り際に手勢100で刈谷城を落としてます）、その際に岡部家の家宝として頂いた兜が、昭和10年に社殿から見つかったそうですわ。 （扱いが雑じゃね？） 放置加減から、岡部氏入封時からとは考え難く、伏見稲荷の分社後か、明治維新のどさくさに奉納されたのかもしれませんね…知らんけど。 でも、今川義元公の兜の割に、インパクト薄すぎません？（心の声が） 1640(寛永17)年岡部宣勝公の入封（1644年の正保城絵図に岸城神社(宮屋敷)はあるが、三の丸神社らしき表記はありません。)以降に古城(野田町)から遷座されたようです。 3代藩主:岡部長泰公の代によって現在地に伏見稲荷大社を勧請(分社)された様です。(伏見稲荷由来の御神体が何かは知らんけど） 後に行われた稲荷祭が、大和川付け替え工事竣工祝と重なり、盛大になった事が後の1745(延享2)年が始まりとされる『岸和田だんじり祭り』へと発展してい...

岸和田城二ノ丸から程遠く無い所です。ここに三ノ丸跡保存会の碑があります。岸和田城の守り神として、三ノ丸にお社がありました。御祭神は、猪尾権現(いのおごんげん)、黄旗大明神(きばただいみょうじん)、白髭(しらひげだいみょうじん)の三柱です。伏見稲荷からの白髭大明神を合祀し、五穀豊穣を願って、岸和田だんじり祭が始まったと言われています。初期の地車には、お稲荷さんの姿が見えます。旧市のだんじりはこの三ノ丸神社にも宮入りしたと伝わっています。今も地元の人やお詣...
