I highly recommend saying in this inn if you are in the area. While the rooms are a bit dated, I really appreciate the cozy feel of a tatami mat room. The meals were spectacular, with a private charcoal grill for every table. This is by far the best kaiseki meal I've had, it's very traditional with many types of pickles, and not over the top. The breakfast was equally delicious. If you prefer to stay in a newer hotel, you should definitely come here for the onsen because they have natural hot spring water with sulfur.
