長崎港に面した開放感のある公園。起伏は少なく、木々はあるものの鬱蒼と生い茂るほどの本数が植えられていない。周囲には高層の建物のないため、子供からお年寄りまで広々した開放的な空間を楽しみながら散策することが出来る。 一方で子供が遊べるような遊具は基本的にない。また水辺には転落防止用の柵はあるものの成人の腰くらいの高さであるため、ボールやフリスビーなど遠くへ飛ばして遊ぶことは基本的に出来ない（海に落ちたら回収不可能と思った方がいい）。ウォーキングやジョギング、芝生の上で昼寝など、日ごろの疲れを癒すための場として利用するといいだろう。

It's a park with a sense of openness facing Nagasaki Port. There are few ups and downs, and although there are some trees, they are not so many that they become dense and overgrown. There are no high-rise buildings around, so everyone from children to the elderly can stroll around with enjoying the spacious and open space. On the other hand, there is basically no playground equipment for children to play on. There are fences along the water's edge to prevent people from falling in, but they are waist-high, so it is basically impossible to play with balls or Frisbees (if they fall into the sea, you should assume that they cannot be recovered). You can use this park for walking, jogging, or just taking a nap on the grass.
