🍈 Tomita Melon House 🍈 The Tomita Melon House is a delightful stop on the way back from Tomita Farm to Lavender Farm station. One of the highlights of this area is the presence of various restaurants, offering a wide range of dining options to satisfy any appetite. Beyond the restaurants, a pleasant surprise awaits visitors - a small sunflower field situated behind them. The sight of these cheerful sunflowers adds a touch of brightness to the entire experience, making it a lovely spot for some memorable photos. If you’re exploring the Lavender Farm area and have some time to spare on your return journey, paying a visit to the Tomita Melon House and enjoying the restaurants and sunflower field is definitely worth it. It adds an extra touch of charm to an already delightful day amidst the lavender fields. 🌻

The day we went was around 30 degrees, we decided to walk to the Farm from Nakafurano station, which took about 20mins, and we took a taxi to the station when return (610 yen). Please check the train schedule for return, as only 1-2 train per hr. The Melon was very juicy & sweet. They offer a sliced melon (700 yen for a sliced of Green / Red Melon) or half melon (1200 yen). You can add on top of a Milk ice-cream at 350 yen. We wanna try the white corn, but its not the season yet. If you parked your car on the top of the mountain, you can follow the walkway & there are some more Lavender & flower field (where is less crowd).

2️⃣0️⃣1️⃣9️⃣0️⃣8️⃣0️⃣1️⃣ You really gotta give it to the Japanese for their ingenuity and creativeness. I mean seriously, we talking about melon here. I get them all the time in my supermarket. But over here, a melon is just not a melon. They are turned into many mouth watering cakes, buns, drinks and tarts. Even the way the melon are displayed and boxed are an art form. These humble melon just looks so exquisite. Oh, one other thing - such sophistication don't come cheap. I mean these melon are not cheap. Still what an experience. Appreciate if you leave a LIKE if you find my comment useful. Thank you for your support.

It’s a pastry shop that specializes in using melon as the key ingredient. You’ll be tempted by the items in the refrigerated display cabinet such as the melon parfait, melon crepe, melon pudding, melon bread, and melon cheesecake. Order one or two of those freshly-made goodies and eat it then and there. Order more if you have a sweet tooth. If you want to enjoy eating their products after your Hokkaido vacation trip, you can buy their souvenir goods such as the melon jam, melon castella, and melon cookies.

Tomita Melon House in Hokkaido is truly a gourmet paradise, with its melons and milkshakes being particularly unforgettable. It’s my first time trying Hokkaido melon. The taste is so good that cannot be explained fully by words. Sweet and soft melon accompanied by milk ice-cream is a perfect match. It’s just like drinking melon milk towards the end! And we cannot resist to buy another melon slice afterwards xD However, the price is a bit high compared with city centres.😅 Nevertheless, it’s a perfect place for you to relax after going Tomita farm!
