The beach itself is nice, small area for swimming that is netted (there was still a jellyfish inside the netting). There were umbrellas for rent and chairs for rent but the outdoor recreation company controlling/using the beach (they had banana boat raft rides and such) did not allow me to use my own sun shade and things on the beach.
