There is ample seating available. The petite pork bowl looks small but it is rather filling. The rice had been drizzled with sauce. The braised pork was seasoned and cooked to perfection and the layers of fats and meat melted in the mouth. The umibudo came as a sweet surprise. The green caviar had a crunchy texture and melted in the mouth. There was five thin slices of bittergourd under the pork that tasted bitter and sweet at the same time.

As a local living in Nago, honestly, this "Shima no Eki" (Island Station) is a bit disappointing...

About 3-4 years ago, I didn't think the prices were that high, but lately, I feel like they're targeting foreign tourists too much (just my personal opinion, though). I feel it's similar to the situation in Niseko, Hokkaido.

Seriously, a Nakijin watermelon about 30cm in diameter selling for ¥4,000, and regular pineapples for ¥2,000, while the special-looking ones are in the ¥6,000 range...😵 You can buy them for about half the price at Haji no Eki!

Everyone, I recommend buying at normal prices at places like Kanehide in Nakijin, Haji no Eki, or Aeon in Nago 🙏
