Tombolo Land Bridge — Attraction in Nishiizu

Visit during morning/early afternoon if you're in the area! Lots of fun to explore, take awesome pictures, see wildlife and neat rock formations.

This here is a tidal island which means you can walk over the rocks connecting it to the mainland during the aforementioned times.

Water was very calm so it is pretty safe (it is stronger on the other side of the islands but nobody goes there). Surprisingly long path of rocks with tons of small crabs in between.

Due to the slippery small rocks, I don't recommend sandals; rather, I heavily recommend that you bring (1) water shoes (2) snorkel
