(English below) 陰陽師、安倍晴明氏の生誕地である阿倍野に建立された神社です。あべの通りから細い路地を入ったところにあり、少し見つけにくくなっています。 1007年の創建になるこちらの神社、小さいながらも厳かな気分になれるよい場所です。 --------------------------------------------------- This shrine was built in Abeno, the birthplace of the Yin-Yang Master, Seimei Abe. It is located in a narrow alley off Abeno Street, making it a little difficult to find. The shrine was built in 1007, and although it is small, it is a good place to feel a sense of solemnity.

阿倍王子神社の北側にある！ しかし接している訳ではないので注意が必要。こういう場合、境外社と呼ぶが王子の方が境内が古代と比べて狭まったので、末社であった。 安倍晴明（921年・延喜21年～1005年・寛弘2年）は、平安時代の陰陽師ということになる。占い師という解釈もできるが、古代日本の大宝律令下では、官職であった。役人であって政府の仕事である。中世近世になって、民間で祈祷や占術を生業とする人々が登場し、神社によっては神職とすることもあった。 安倍晴明が生誕した場所というのは正式な記録ではなく、あくまでも安倍晴明神社の社歴である 安倍晴明神社では、占いを行っている。 また、占い全般の神様という位置付けもある。 神社の本殿は大正14年に再建された。大阪大空襲で焼夷弾が神社に落ち、周囲は全焼したがここだけポツンと焼けることがなかった。この事が阿倍野界隈では神格化した時代もあった。 マンガで陰陽師が有名になり、この神社を訪れる人が増えた時期があった。訪れると意外に狭いので私も驚いた部類であった。
