AEON MALL OSAKA DOME CITY — Attraction in Osaka

Being a tourist at this area, this place is amazing. They offers many items such as lvl1 supermarket, home appliance and clothing. But it was a terrible experience at the men’s department as we were looking for winter jacket.

The middle aged male staff stood behind us while we were searching for sizes. No help was offered. Since there was no size available for a particular design, we tried on another design of the same size but unfortunately it doesnt suit us. And yes, that male staff continues to stand away from us and looked at us. So i kept the item and zip up nicely to the rack. So we walked away to another rack to check out what was availble. It was this moment, he came forward to the rack that we were previously and looked at us at the corner of his eyes? So if you’re not interested to help, just walk away. To be honest, your behaviour is just gross and it is just a bad representation of the company or even how a Japanese treats foreigners in Japan now. The overall experience at Aeon was amazing and i am impressed by the checkout system at the supermarket.

A fairly decent size mall for shopping. There’s 300 Coins, a big grocery store, a large food court, and Aeon Retail stores. Aeon offers free tax refund. Make sure you use a coupon to get an extra discount before paying. You pay at any cashier, & once you pay, head to the duty free section on the 1st floor, where they will give you a refund right on the spot once you show them your psssport.
