Matsushima Shinchi — Attraction in Osaka

can expect to meet lots of young and pretty girls here gently smiling to you in the shops, when you walked around the area outside the shops, most are around twenty and not likely older than forty (you would be in good luck😊 if you meet one older), people come to matsushima shinchi for fun should have a reasonable expectation and correct mindset, and to understand somehow some tacit rules on what not to do and what are accepted so as not to be too demanding, rude or impolite, these probably known and well accepted amongst most local japanese and customers, well you should have a good time enjoying each others'...

Went for a meal here in Saturday evening, 5-6pm. Because weather was rainy, there werent that many other clients and only around 40% of spots were open. Even though I was not local, was invited around half of the places. Took 30min course meal, 18k. Sadly protection devices were meant for local visitors, so it prevented me to finish the meal (too small/tight, therefore felt almost nothing). Could have extended the time, but at that point felt bit like waste of money. Regardless of that, the service was very nice and staff...

Great to walk around and see a very ancient red light district of Japan. I walk through often to go to C&C supermarket. A shortcut and interesting to see how many tea shops are open or closed depending on the season and the weather. I have probably walked through the district about 50 times. I've never seen anything dangerous or heard anyone yelling. My Swedish friend used to live nearby and everyone waved at him as he was walking his kids home...
