Sagami-Ono Central Park — Attraction in Sagamihara

This park is really pretty and has a very laid-back atmosphere. There are several different features for relaxing, such as an overlook looking over a little pond, a crescent shaped partially shaded stone bench area with a view of the park, an elevated covered pavilion. Lots of tree cover around the margins of the park and several water features. It’s a little shaggy, which is why I knocked off a star. It just doesn’t look very well-kept. The grass is really long, and there a lot of weeds growing up around the margins of the park. I’m sure it’s just a symptom of budget strain with the economy the way it is, but it’s a little sad to see it being a neglected.
