Sea and Life Museum — Attraction in Sakaiminato

My friend and I are foreigners and we showed our passports and got in for ¥100 each! You can spend about 20-30 min inside depending on your speed. There weren’t so many things translated in English for us but there were some interactive little things that were fun. There were a LOT of taxiderm-ied(?) sea creatures inside so if that freaks you out, I might avoid this area. 魚や生物が好きな自分としては、、ということで★4。ここまで魚のはく製のオンパレードでくるのも珍しい気がします。またマンボウの日本最大というはく製はなかなかの迫力でした。 一般的な目線を想像すると、★２～３くらいを行き交うくらいでしょうか。はく製ということもあって、作り物感はどうしてもありますし、魚に興味ない人からしたら施設名の「海とくらし」の展示物少なっ！ってなるんじゃないでしょうか。 入館料は450円でしたが、この展示量と規模感だと妥当というか、下手したら少し安いといっていい気がします。そもそも興味がない人からするとこれで金とるのかーとなるかもしれませんが、これよりも全然しょぼくてお金をとる博物館はそれなりにありますよーって思います。

施設は満足したのですが、観光で訪れる方に大注意なのが、 入口付近で、「おカネ貸して」といってくるおばあさんがいたら気をつけてください。「財布を落としちゃったのだけどバスに乗らないと行けなくて500円かして」 と自分は声をかけられたのですが、地元民のおじさんがおばあさんに注意の声をかけた瞬間おばあさんは逃げていきました。おじさんによると、だいたい500円～1000円をいろんな人にたかっているようです。よく出没しているよう...
