new store, absolutely gorgeous with a giant LED screen that is interactive. the exclusive merch is a must-buy.

In contention to be one of the best pokemon center in japan! (see last video I posted in this review)

the center is themed around the 6 different festivals in the region, make sure to spot them all!

old review: currently under renovation, new one set to open mid-march 2025.

If your're heading through Sendai it's worth the stop. You can easily access it from the JR Station. There's plenty of paid parking lots if you decide to come by car. Aside from the one or two exclusive Touhoku themed items, the merchandise here isn't any different from the Online Shop or the other Centers/Airport Stores. It is however the only offical "Center" between Tokyo and Sapporo (Hokkaido). The staff is friendly, and the building it's in has plenty of other nice shops...

ANNOUNCEMENT:

Pokémon Center Tohoku will reopen on the 3rd floor of Sendai PARCO Main Building on Friday, March 14, 2025. It is currently undergoing renovations and will soon officially reopen. The new store will be designed to evoke the vibrancy of festivals in the "Tohoku" region.

UPDATE:

Merchandise commemorating the reopening is now available as of March 14, 2025. Pokémon Center Tohoku is now renovated and reopens on the 3rd floor of Sendai PARCO...

Let's say you're near the JR Sendai station area, and you feel an incredible urge to splurge on Pokemon things. Week then, you would be in luck because this Pokemon Store/Center located on the third floor of the nearby Parco Building has everything Pokemon that you would need. This location has a very large footprint and is neatly organized. Lots of friendly and helpful staff are everywhere. Recommended if you're into Pokemon!

Large Pokemon Centre, whose mascot is Victini. There is a large choice of plushies, which you win’t see everywhere else. I bought the sleepy Dragonite and a small Zorua as a gift. The store can let you buy a maximum of 6 card boosters, which is a good thing to avoir scalpers. Be careful, there is no tax free for Pokemon Centres.
