Fantastic experience coming here.. this is a proper football ground with a very lively and friendly group of supporters… tho the team on the pitch were having a bad day, the supporters remained in full voice until the final whistle, even when we were at 0-5.. no one left early, the songs and chants were strong all the way through..
When I bought tickets online, a prompt asked “sit with fans” or “sit closer to players”, as well as some other options… if you select “fans” you will be behind the goal with the kind-of ultras.. you likely will be on your feet for the entire match and your hands may be a bit swollen by the end from clapping.. nothing at all unsafe or unsavory about this section, unlike some other parts of the world.. didn’t see any drinking and everyone was very well mannered..
If sitting with the fans, come early as the seating isn’t reserved and the great vibe starts well before kickoff anyway… give yourself time as you will need to walk 20 minutes or so from the station to the stadium. Overall, I had a very good experience watching a game of football in a spectacular...

Parking a car, like most places in Northern Osaka, is not quick and easy. It’s very advisable to book a car park or take the train/monorail. Of the three available car parks for bookings, the southern one is next to the stadium. The other two car parks are similar distance from the ground to the monorail and the train stations. The walk to the stadium entrance takes about 15 minutes from the remote car parks.
It can get cold during winter, so pack a rug...
