日本三大火祭り「須賀川松明あかし」は、４３０年続く火祭りで、毎年１１月の第二土曜日に開催されます。 近くで見ると圧巻、圧倒されます。火の粉が上から降ってきてます。

須賀川松明明石は、福島県須賀川市で行われる伝統的な祭りです。毎年11月に行われ、高さ7～8メートルもの大きな松明が夜空を焦がす壮大な光景が見られます。 由来と歴史 この祭りは、伊達政宗との合戦で亡くなった戦死者の霊を弔うために始まったと伝えられています。約430年の歴史を持ち、地域の人々に大切に受け継がれてきました。

Sukagawa Taimatsu Akashi is one of Japan's three greatest fire festivals, a tradition that has continued for 430 years. Held annually on the second Saturday of November, this event is a truly awe-inspiring spectacle. When viewed up close, the intense heat and falling embers create an overwhelming experience. The festival takes place in Sukagawa City, Fukushima Prefecture. Every November, towering pine torches reaching heights of 7 to 8 meters illuminate the night sky, creating a magnificent sight.

24.11.9訪問しました。430年の歴史ある祭り、伊達政宗の姉が須賀川領主二階堂氏の妻であった。度々従属するよう促したが拒否。意を決し政宗が攻め二階堂氏を滅ぼした。戦いで失くなった者への鎮魂をこめてはじまった祭りらしい。松明の燃える様は落城の雰囲気そのままかもしれません。見応えあり良かったです。18時30分に松明へ点火だが1時間前くらいに五老山に登っておいたほうが無難です。駐車場は牡丹園に停めたらスムーズでした。かなりの人なので計画的に行動したほうがいいです。山登れず下から見...
