It’s a local zoo. If you go in expecting that then you will be pleasantly surprised. It’s good for kids with a petting area, tour entries into the lemur cage, bear feeding and a play and eat area away from the animals.

It lost two stars for how they treat their big cats. The enclosure is tiny, hard concrete and frankly, pretty poor. We want to enjoy this zoo but can only feel...

5月4日に行った。初。予算の確保に苦労してるんだろうなと想像しやすいほど、施設が古めかしいが、それが魅力。古いなりに創意工夫をしているので、それもまた、たのしぃ。見るだけでなく、触れあえたり、案内看板を子供でもわかるように表示したり♪とても、楽しかったです。55周年？今後も運営を継続してもらいたいね。小さい子供たちが、大人になって、自分の子供を連れていく、繰り返し。これが大事ですよね。そんな気持ちにさせてくれた動物園です。ペンギンが泳ぎながら、水底に映る影の動きにあわせてうごきまわり可愛い。カピバラがヒナタボッコして、穏やかな顔。日本猿が自分の足の指を舐めながら、再利用している消防ホースをつたって飛び回る。ふれあいゾーンでは、うさぎ、モルモットを抱っこして、背中を優しく撫でている子供達の表情は朗らか。楽しめたし癒された。カピバラ神社が園内に設けられ、...
