If you love nature and history, you have hit the jackpot. There are buildings from the Meiji and Taisho eras that you can tour inside. In particular, the Shiro Murano Memorial Museum is housed in an old elementary school building, and the exhibits inside show the reality of a wartime elementary school. In the main building of the museum, the history of Fuchu City from the Jomon Era to the present day is on display, and you could easily lose a couple of hours just looking at the exhibits. There are of course many wonderful natural landscapes, and I personally recommend the waterfall near the fountain square. Although it is a small artificial waterfall, the maple trees growing around it are exquisite and picturesque. There are couches kindly set up right in front of the waterfall, and if there were no other visitors, I would be tempted to watch the waterfall for as long as...

The main building consists of a museum and planetarium. The museum displays look new with well installed lightning in order to view artifacts such as old swords. Outside is a combination of a large park with greenery and various trees, a water play area, and small number of old houses from different periods in history. Most buildings can be entered. At the west side of the park is located a small restaurant, workshop and air-conditioned rest area, both tatami and tables are available. Car parking is about 5 minutes from the main gate...

Wonderful park with flowers of all seasons. We went at the time of hydrangea. The water play area for kids is superb. Kids enjoyed a lot. Don’t forget to get spare clothes. Just next to the entrance there is planetarium which has nice shows. They’d is a school building cum museum. Food options are less but good inside the park. It was not very crowded as we went early 9am. Week days are not at all crowded. Near the water play area there are solar mobile charger ports which can be used for free for 30 mins.

A great open air museum where historical buildings of Fuchu city is presented... You can get a taste of what pre modernized fuchu city was... And if you visit in June, one additional perks is hydrangra flowers will be every where... A great place for a weekend visit... And the ramen shop inside the museum is very testy and economical also..(600 yen only 😋)
