...well, Mitsui Outlets are either really horrible--like it's Yokohama location, or think that all* their customers are really, really stupid and will buy anything. I know both types.
Outlets are so organized now, that they'll (mostly) sell the least-appealing stock and hope people just blindly buy their worst....colors, styles, sizes.
I single out Adidas in particular because I go to this specific location regularly. Their bored staff are so robotic, senseless and tactless. They don't realize that if you don't act overzealous and like a human being, you might enjoy going there. THEY DON'T. The staff are terrible and follow customers as if they're only potential thieves.
This is absolutely a verified opinion and experience this consistently. They need to calm down and understand just how average...
Read moreEasy to get to. I used Keio line and got there directly in 45 min with no problems. There are a lot of shops fir men and women. There is literally something for everyones taste. I, personally, liked the most Adidas shop. Has the best price-quality ratio. But there are also other shops like Nike, New Balance, New Yorker...check thei web site and you'll find what you need. If you are going here with kids, don't worry, there are several small playgrounds and a mini train to keep them occupied while you go shopping. Of course if you get tired and need rest you'll find numerous restaurants and coffee shops to chill and get refreshed. Enjoy your visit cuz...
Read moreA convenient place if you just want the feel a of a non-oppressively crowded shopping center, not unlike outlet malls or walk abouts that you'd find in suburban USA (and with many of the same brands).
There are definitely better places to go if you are searching for bargains. I'm not sure if I would really call the prices there "outlet prices".
There's also a cozy Tully's Coffee shop tucked in one of the corners.
I enjoyed it because I was tethered to Tokyo Metropolitan University for a few days' conference, and appreciated having something to wander around during the less-interesting...
