This review is about the outdoor pool, open from July 1 to September 16 not about the indoor 25m and children's pools which are ordinary and overly warm, and overly regulated... Good points: This is a relatively good pool in the Tokyo area. It's deep and also has a cold water inlet pipe which helps keep it cool - cooler than other local outdoor pools at least, which are like warm baths. There's a shallow kid's section and a section where (very rare case) diving is permitted, but only for junior high school age and older. Also, the area is separated well so if you want a quieter swim, that possible too. Most of the rules are posted in Japanese though, but staff will help you if you don't understand something. Anyways 10 yen for kids and 200 for adults is a...
Read moreFun if not too busy, but it is quite dirty and needs a good clean. There are also the typically strange rules that require everyone to get out of the pool and stretch for 10 minutes every hour. This is some nonsense pseudoscience that has no basis in reality. They also closed all the outdoor pools in early September when the temperatures are still well above 30 degrees Celsius. Why do they make swimming...
