The location is absolutely amazing. It is right next to a station entrance and in a little neighborhood that is quiet. The view from the rooms are awesome and although the room itself was microscopic, it was livable. We did not get a room with the big train picture on the wall but that's fine by me. I preferred the plainness. What I didn't prefer was their inability to use the space they have. There is no where to store your luggage and if you are traveling with someone, be prepared to hop over them constantly if you're on the window side of the bed.

There is one small table with a pamphlet taking up space on it. I don't know why they don't install a holder for that near the door so you can read the information there, but whatever.

The service folk themselves were questionable. They were blatantly nosy and I'm pretty sure they sneakily checked on our room under the guise that they were checking the wifi connection. We came back to our room one evening to see that the bathroom was tampered with. Do you keep your wifi in the bathroom?

They wouldn't let us use the stairs for some reason, and one of their workers was super sketchy. They have a private onsen that I was told I can't use because I have tattoos by one guy who I made an effort to avoid seeing my entire stay. It's a private onsen. Why can't it be used if there's not going to be anyone else there? The tattoo fearing age of Japan is over, it's time to evolve.

The guy was a weirdo who made me uncomfortable. I don't know his name, but he is very much so not fully Japanese. He was weirdly overbearing and whenever I did happen across his presence (to my misfortune), he was hovering the cameras. Weirdo. Let people breathe. We're all...

A five minute walk from Tabata Station, but up a very steep hill (or very long flight of steps) so even with a roller bag it is a difficult climb. You come out of the South door of the metro station and there is no escalator or elevator so again, a bit of a climb with bags. However, the hotel is close and easy to find - BIG sign on it. The room is small with little closest space or a place for a suitcase, but I had no trouble making it work without difficulty. Coffee/tea and fridge in room. Vending machine located in the hotel. Desk in room was adequate for laptop and general work, but I had to use bed as the chair - not a problem but the provided stool was not good for me.||A 10 minute walk takes you to several restaurants, cafes, bars and a convenience store with ATM. Again - up steep stairs returning to the hotel.||Another reviewer mentioned noise from the trains - I could hear them in the background, it was not a problem to me. Staff was very friendly and helpful. ||For a business person on a short stay - this is a good hotel.||As to location, it is about 25 minutes by train/metro to Ginza and you do not have to change trains. To airports, via train, Haneda about 50 minutes on metro and...

Got denied check in as the hotel staff told us that the room was damage and impossible to stay which they didn't inform us neither via phone nor email but we got informed at 8pm after we just got back to hotel. They offered us an alternate hotel for one night and we had to move to another hotel on the rest of the stay which this was the only option they offered us. We requested for another hotel but they kept telling us that they had no authorized to decide about the hotel as the manager already left!! We asked to see the damaged room but they refused to show us which it was suspicious. How can all 4-5 rooms be damaged at the same time?

The staff offered us another hotel to stay which was so old and dusty. One of our friend in the group has dust mite allergies and she couldn't stop coughing and sneezing.

We found out the next day that they were actually overbooked. We went back to talk to the manager and they told us it was all about the system that made them overbooked. We were really disappointed about how they lied to us on the day before and how they treated us.

Our trip was a total disaster and they couldn't provide us any better compensate. They don't even deserved a single...

This hotel is located 2 minutes from the JR Tabata station, which is served by 2 train lines, Keihin-Tohoku and Yamanote lines. The view of the Shinkansen going north from Tokyo is fantastic! However there are a few pros and cons I would like to mention: Pros: 2 minutes on foot to/from the JR Tabata station South Exit Set menu breakfast Free Coffee drink after checkin (the staff did not mention it but I asked and they said the coffee is free) Depending on the selected room, the room has the view of Shinkansen Cons: On the JR Tabata South Exist, there is no elevator or escalator. It might be challenging if you carry heavy suitcases. Communal bath is offered by reservation ONLY but the capacity is 2 people for 30min slot Door to the room faces outside. It might be hot or cold depending on the season.
